E Major and E Minor Guitar Chords

Playing guitar is not that difficult if you will get the right direction. Guitar chords are the backbone of guitar and practising it makes it perfect. Today, let's learn how to play E Minor and E Major Chord.

To play the E Major chord. Follow these simple steps :-


Step 1. Place your first finger (index finger) on the third string, first fret. 

            For this use tip of the finger and avoid touching other strings


Step 2. Place your second finger (middle finger) on fifth string, second fret. 

            Do not touch the fourth sting. 

Step 3. Put your third finger (ring finger) on fourth string i.e. below your middle finger.

Step 4. Now you are ready to play the E Major chord by strumming  all the 6 string gently.

            Do not strum too forcefully.


To play the E Minor chord. Follow these simple steps :-



Step 1. Place your second finger (middle finger) on fifth string, second fret. 

            Do not touch the fourth sting. 

Step 2. Put your third finger (ring finger) on fourth string i.e. below your middle finger.

Step 3. Yes, it's that simple. Now you are ready to play the E Minor chord by strumming
            
             all the 6 string gently. Do not strum too forcefully.
