Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro: Powered by Brand New Google Tensor Chip
The tech giant Google quietly revealed its next flagship Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. This is the first time that Google is using its own custom designed chips along with a new camera system and design.
According to Google its newly designed Tensor chips can process Google's most powerful AI and ML Models directly on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google added that these chips will also transform experience for the camera, speech recognition, translation, captioning, dictation and many other features.
The Pixel 6 features a matte finished metal frame with glass on the back. The Pixel 6 Pro has a glossy metal frame and glass on the back. This smartphone series will come in 3 new color combos. These smartphones will have more space above the camera bar. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will have 3 cameras, including a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. Both Phones will also have updated display. Pixel 6 will have a 90 Hz flat panel whereas the Pixel 6 Pro will have a 120 Hz curved display with a punch hole camera at the top.
Google also seems to have improve its video recording capabilities. Initial hands on smartphone suggest that Pixel 6 captures better quality video as compare to iPhone 12 and iPhone Pro models.
