Apple : The All New iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro

The apple virtual launch event started at 10:30 PM IST and the live stream took place on Apple's YouTube channel. Finally, Apple launched its iPhone 13 series and Apple watch series 7.

iPhone 13 series consists of 4 models:-

  1. iPhone 13 mini
  2. iPhone 13
  3. iPhone 13 Pro 
  4. iPhone 13 Pro Max

New iPhone 13 Series

Specifications

iPhone 13 lineup will be having IP68 certification, the notch will be 20% smaller than usual, and will support 5G. It will be powered by an A15 Bionic chipset which is the latest and fastest chipset that Apple has created to date and runs on iOS15.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will be having Super Retina XDR OLED displays along with 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch displays, respectively with a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

Moving onto the cameras, iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 feature a brand new camera design that has the camera sensors placed diagonally. Both have a dual 12MP camera system:-

  1. Wide (f/1.6 aperture)
  2. Ultra-Wide (f/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view)

The iPhone 13 Pro also comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR along with ProMotion that features a 120Hz refresh rate. 

 

However, iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with the biggest display panel in the iPhone 13 series with a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR along with ProMotion which also has a 120Hz refresh rate.


The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a Pro 12MP camera system which has 3 sensors: 

  1. Telephoto (f/2.8 aperture)
  2. Wide (f/1.5 aperture)
  3. Ultra-Wide (f/1.8 aperture and 120° field of view)

Prices and Availability

The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 will be available in 5 color options:-

  1. Starlight 
  2. Midnight
  3. Blue
  4. Pink
  5. Product RED

iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 will be starting from Rs.69900 and Rs.79900, respectively, and will have 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. 

iPhone 13 Series

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available in 4 color options:-

  1. Sierra Blue
  2. Silver
  3. Gold 
  4. Graphite

iPhone 13 Pro will be a more expensive proposition that will be starting at Rs.119900. It will have 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

iPhone 13 Pro Series

As for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, it will be starting at Rs.129900. It will also be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
