Bigg Boss 15 : Salman Khan to be paid 350 Crore for 14 weeks of hosting

Salman Khan will be back hosting Bigg Boss 15 which is all set to begin on 2nd October.

According to reports, the actor will be paid a whopping amount of Rs.350 Crores for hosting one of the biggest reality shows in India for 14 weeks. Salman has a very unique style of hosting the show and handling the situations has made him the most loved host of Bigg Boss among Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Farah Khan. He has been consistently hosting the show for the past 11 seasons.

Rumors about Salman charging a high amount for hosting the show surface every year. He is the highest-paid host of any reality show ever. Reports revealed that he charged Rs. 2.5 Crore per episode from Season 4 to Season 6. From Season 7, he doubled his fee to Rs. 5 Crore per episode. He reportedly charged Rs. 13 Crore every week for Bigg Boss 13 and now he will be charging Rs. 25 Crore per week for Bigg Boss 15.

Bigg Boss is the biggest reality show in India in which a new set of celebrities participate every year. While Salman Khan has been confirmed as the host of Bigg Boss 15, the name of the contestants are yet to be declared. However, Pratik Sehajpal is the only confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 15. He was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss OTT, aired on the VOOT app, and made it to finals after which he opted out from the competition, thus confirming his place in Bigg Boss 15.

Bigg Boss 15 will be on-air for almost six months, starting from 2nd October 2021.
