To keep your heart healthy and fit, it's essential to watch what you eat. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 17 million people die from heart disease worldwide every year. The main reason behind these heart diseases is Cardiovascular disease (CVD).

World Heart Day is celebrated on September 29. This day is lauded to raise awareness around Cardiovascular disease (CVD). This year's theme 'Use heart to connect', is a suggestion for people to take necessary precautions and start thinking about their family and their own heart health.

Eat Healthily

And secondhand smoke also increases the chance of stroke among nonsmokers by a large percentage.


Secondhand smoke is connected to chronic breathing problems, especially seen in children. It can also cause diseases like cancer and other heart diseases in people who have never smoked. Children and teens have an increased risk of heart disease as adults because breathing secondhand smoke reduces their “good cholesterol” levels, increases their blood pressure, and harms the heart.
