Shraddha Gupta commits suicide

Shraddha Gupta, an officer of Punjab National Bank situated in Ayodhya, UP, committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan. She even left a suicide note in the name of her parents.

Shraddha lived alone in a rented house in Ayodhya and was working in PNB for the last five years. Last night her parents called her but she did not receive the call. The next morning, they again called her but this time too, the call was not received. Her parents called up her landlord and asked him to check up on their daughter whether she is fine or not.

When the landlord checked, the door was locked from inside after which he started knocking on the door. When after a lot of knocking, the door did not open, he peeped inside through the window and found that Shraddha was hanging. He immediately informed her parents and police.

When her family reached the spot, the police broke the window in front of her family and recovered a suicide note which was written in the name of her parents. According to the suicide note Vivek Gupta, Anil Rawat, and IPS Ashish Tiwari were held responsible for her death.

Ritesh Gupta, brother of the deceased said that Shraddha was a live-hearted girl who cannot commit suicide. These three people whose names are coming up, they should be investigated. SSP Shailesh Pandey said that the body was found hanging from a dupatta. The body has been sent for postmortem and further actions will be taken based on the report.
