India's Harnaaz Sandhu crowned Miss Universe 2021. Who is she?

India has won the coveted crown of Miss. Universe twice with Sushmita Sen bagging the title in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000. After 21 years, Harnaaz Sandhu from India has won the title of Miss Universe 2021 which has caused significant joy among the people of the country.



Out of  80 beauties from different countries, Harnas Kaur Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021. The Miss Universe 2021  was held on December 12, 2021, in Eliat, Israel. This time, model and actress Harnaaz Sandhu represented India at the international beauty pageant. The event was live-streamed on 13th December 2021 LIVE on Voot Select at 5:30 am.



In the final round, the panelists asked, "What advice would you give young women about the stress they are experiencing these days?" 

 

Harnas answered, "The biggest stress young women face these days is the loss of self-confidence. Realizing that there is no one else like you will make you beautiful. Do not compare yourself with others. Talk about many other important things that are being talked about in the world. Come out, speak for yourself, you are the one who has to lead your life. You are your voice. I believed in myself. That is why I am standing here."



The second question was regarding climate change. Harnaaz Sandhu's response was that he wanted to work for nature rather than rhetoric and that he would do whatever he could. It was these answers that earned Harnas the title of Faithful. 


Harnas Chandu, 21, from Chandigarh, has completed her school and college education in Chandigarh. She has already participated in many competitions and won titles, starring in Punjabi films like Yaara Diyan Poo Baran and Bai Ji Kuttange.


Harnaaz was the winner of Times Fresh Face Miss Chandigarh 2017, Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018, and Femina Miss India Punjab 2019.
