Woman Left In Shock After An Ola Cab Driver Masturbated In Front Of Her

In a recent incident that came to light, an Ola cab driver masturbated in front of a women passenger thinking that she had not noticed him. She took to Twitter to describe this horrific incident.

“In a city that I call home, it made me feel extremely unsafe today. Took an Ola around the usual time, after work only to be with a driver who had the audacity to think he could masturbate in front of me. He kept at it thinking I hadn’t noticed and kept at it,” she tweeted.

Update: @Ola_Bangalore @Olacabs sent a mail saying the case has been solved and the ticket has been closed.
But how is it assurance that this fucker is not out on the road working with the company again? Not looking for someone to lose their job but this is a matter of safety.

She continued that she somehow gathered strength and yelled and made the driver stop the cab. “As soon as I noticed, he closed the dhoti he was wearing and pretended nothing was wrong. With the little courage I had, I screamed and shouted, making him stop the cab. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of a dark street with a barely lit street light. He stopped and drove off,”

After her Complaint and series of tweets, OLA sent her an email and assured her that they have taken appropriate action against the partner based on the complaint and revoked his access to the Ola platform

Bengaluru police however took note of the incident and apologized to the passenger. She was also told that a complaint has been filed against the ola driver. A team has already been allocated to the task of catching the driver. Moreover, the police guaranteed the female passenger that the issue will also be taken up with Ola cabs for appropriate action.
