Har Ghar Tiranga: A Campaign to Celebrate India's Independence

The "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign is a nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging people to hoist the national flag at their homes, marking the 75th anniversary of India's independence.

The primary objective of the campaign is to foster a sense of patriotism within the hearts of Indians. Additionally, the campaign strives to cultivate feelings of national pride and unity among individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The Ministry of Culture is distributing complimentary flags to citizens through governmental offices, educational institutions such as schools and colleges, as well as other public establishments. Furthermore, the Ministry is coordinating various events and activities as integral components of the campaign. These activities encompass flag hoisting ceremonies, quiz competitions, essay writing contests, and cultural programs.

Participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign involves the act of hoisting the national flag at people's residences on August 13, 14, and 15. Participants are also encouraged to share images and videos of their flag-hoisting moments on social media platforms, accompanied by the hashtag #HarGharTiranga.

The Har Ghar Tiranga initiative stands as an excellent manner in which to display our affection for our nation and celebrate our independence. It also serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices rendered by our freedom fighters for the sake of our liberty.

Let us collectively contribute to the success of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Together, we can exhibit to the world our profound pride and unwavering patriotism.
